The NSWDU Online Open is a one day online debating tournament for students in years 9 to 12. It will occur on Zoom and will give students a great opportunity to practice their debating skills while being adjudicated by NSWDU’s highly qualified coaches, adjudicators and triallists.
The 2021 NSWDU Online Open will take place on Sunday 7 March.
Teams for this tournament will consist of three speakers. You must be in high school, however speakers on each team do not need to attend the same school. If you are interested in attending but don’t have a team, you can sign up and we will try to assign you a team.
To register for the tournament, read the information below and then submit your details using this form.
Registration costs $15 per debater, and will close at 5 PM, Wednesday 3 March.
This tournament will help you prepare for the NSWDU state team trials, as you will get the opportunity to receive feedback from our adjudicators and practice your debating skills.
The tournament will take place on Zoom. You must be in high school to attend. Teams can include students from multiple teams. If you do not have a team, you can sign up individually and we will randomly allocate you a team.
